That was a great post and good thinking (Guild Wars2 Gold). I like what you said about snacking on nuts. I'd suggest spending a little time researching which are the healthiest and which need to be consumed in smaller quantities.
Also, I suggest taking care with the avacados. They have a lot of fat in them. The father of a friend of mine had a major heart attack last year due to excessive avacado intake. He loved them and would eat 3 or 4 every day, and had been doing that for "a long time" (I don't know exactly how long). After surgery he was discussing it with his doctor and reviewing his nutrition with them. They limited him to an avacado per week, if I recall correctly, though that limit may have been due to the having had valves replaced.
I'm not saying avacados are the devil, they're not and I enjoy them myself, just that moderation is key. You can overdo it with them.
Having to stuff yourself is adding nuts (1 once is a portion (Guild Wars2 Gold), and most nuts have about 180 calories per once. Pistachios have 161 calories per once) -- nuts have a decent about of protein as well.
In addition, you could ad some avacado -- 1/2 a small avacado (Hass avacado, the larger avacados are Califronia Avacados) have about 120 calories and a good portion of vitiman E as well as other nutrients.)
If you eat one once of nuts sometime in the morning, and one once sometime in the afternoon/evening, you will have added an average of 360 calories to you day's calorie intake with a not-neligiable amount of protein and GOOD fats. Ad 1/2 an avacado to your salad and that's about 480 calories TOTAL (nuts and avacadon together) and no junk food added just for the calories and no dairy and no gluten.
